What is in one spray?
Vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol: 25 mcg / 1,000 IU. Nominal liquid volume: 0.06 mL. Other ingredients: purified water, glycerol, sunflower lecithin, medium-chain triglycerides, citric acid, steviol glycosides, natural peppermint flavour, potassium sorbate and vitamin E acetate.
How long does a tube last?
It contains approximately 240 sprays. At one spray per day, that is up to 240 daily portions by contents. Follow the expiry and after-opening period printed on the supplied bottle; a four-month after-opening limit appears on the reviewed D3 label. Spray count does not extend that limit.
How is this different from a pill or drops?
You apply the liquid spray inside the cheek. There is no solid vitamin pill to swallow and no water, spoon or drop-counting step. The slim tube and recappable dispenser make it easy to carry.
What does “molecular spray” mean?
Nutrioz combines a liquid formulation, protective tube and metered pump in its molecular spray delivery system. The pump disperses liquid into mist. The 0.06 mL figure is the volume of a spray; it is not a measurement of droplet or particle size.
Where is the vitamin absorbed?
The spray puts the formula in contact with oral tissue. The manufacturer describes oral uptake and gastrointestinal uptake of the remainder that is swallowed. The proportion through each route has not been established for Nutrioz D3 in the product-specific human evidence reviewed here. Not feeling a need to swallow is an experience of use, rather than a measurement of absorption.

Nutrioz is made in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The manufacturing site’s SGS cGMP certificate covers production of dietary supplement sprays.
