Molecular Spray Technology® – How Nutrioz Works
Molecular Spray Technology® is Nutrioz's name for its measured, fine-mist oral supplement format. It describes how the product is packaged and delivered for use in the mouth; it does not by itself prove a clinical outcome or superior bioavailability.
How the format works
- Use the product only as directed on its label.
- Each actuation releases a measured fine mist into the mouth.
- The small spray volume is designed to support consistent dosing and oral contact.
- Normal use may involve both oral-mucosa contact and swallowing. The relative contribution of each pathway depends on the ingredient and formulation.
What 0.06 ml per spray means
The actuator used for the Nutrioz format is designed to release approximately 0.06 ml per spray. This supports compact packaging and measured use. Spray volume alone does not establish absorption speed, bioavailability, or clinical effectiveness.
What the evidence can show
Oral, buccal, and sublingual delivery routes are established areas of pharmaceutical and nutrition research. However, evidence about one ingredient, formulation, or medicine cannot automatically be applied to a different Nutrioz product.
Unless a product page identifies completed product-specific human data, Nutrioz does not claim complete digestive bypass, immediate systemic delivery, or a fixed multiple of the bioavailability of tablets.
Our evidence pages distinguish between:
- Format rationale — why an oral spray may be convenient to use
- Ingredient evidence — established nutrient functions that may support permitted label claims
- Product-specific evidence — testing performed on the finished Nutrioz formulation
Format comparison
| Format | Pill or capsule swallowing | Measured use | Key consideration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tablet or capsule | Required | Per unit | Familiar conventional format |
| Gummy or chewable | No pill swallowing | Per unit | Requires chewing and may contain additional sweeteners |
| Liquid supplement | No pill swallowing | Measured separately | May require a cup, spoon, or dropper |
| Nutrioz oral spray | No pill or capsule swallowing | Measured spray actuator | Compact, portable oral format |
Quality and documentation
Nutrioz products are made in the USA. Product-specific ingredient lists, directions, warnings, specifications, and available quality documentation can be supplied to professional and commercial buyers. Statements such as vegan suitability, allergen information, testing status, and preservative content should be checked on the specific product label or documentation.
NASA Space Apps Challenge participation
The Nutrioz team presented an oral nutrient-delivery concept during the 2025 NASA International Space Apps Challenge. Participation in the challenge is part of the company's innovation story; it does not constitute NASA product endorsement, clinical validation, or regulatory approval.
